Good News
Yesterday it was revealed that my illustration came 2nd in Ms Moem's search for a cover star competition, in association with Derwent Pencils. I heard about the competition from a lovely lady on Twitter and I was over the moon to have been selected, especially as the standard of entries were so high.
My entry was based upon the poem title 'A Puddle of Love.' I used acrylics and coloured pencils to create the final image and I was delighted that it got such a positive response from people.
Secondly, as of today I've officially passed my masters degree course and can proudly say that I have an MA in Education and Children's Literature :)

Cake Logo
A few weeks ago I was asked to illustrate a logo for a new cake company. I find logo design more of a challenge compared to my usual stuff, but managed to come up with these designs that make up the finished image.

Competition Entry
A little illustration I did for a competition entry. The theme is based upon the idea of 'a puddle of love.' I really enjoyed doing this, even if it doesn't win I'm still happy with how it turned out :)

Happy Autumn
So it's not quite Christmas yet. Autumn is my favourite season so here's a happy little illustration I did.

Christmas things
As it's nearly that time of year again, I've been working on some preliminary illustrations for Christmas card designs. Last year I was a bit abstract with my chosen theme so this year I've tried to keep it really traditional with coloured pencils.
