1969 Man on the Moon
I am a self confessed space nerd.
Tomorrow sees the 42nd anniversary of the first Apollo 11 moon landing. The anniversary coincides with the final space shuttle mission of Atlantis which returns on Thursday.
Illustrated using coloured pencils and inks.
"HERE MEN FROM THE PLANET EARTH FIRST SET FOOT UPON THE MOON JULY 1969, A.D. WE CAME IN PEACE FOR ALL MANKIND"

Ballet Shoes
I've been reading 'Ballet Shoes' by Noel Streatfeild and felt like doing some dancing illustrations. I've been working a lot with coloured pencils lately and really like the lovely soft feel that they create. Even though it's a long slow process, I always feel like the end result is worth it.
